Farming 'resets' every year and it's exciting to take the collective experience of the past and bring it forward for the better.

Rodnick.farm is located high up on the east side of the Salinas Valley at 1600 to 1900 ft elevation on the western slopes of the Gabilan Mountains. The 152 acre farm with 27 acres of vineyard is above the fog in a high desert climate. This mix of high desert and the daily cooling effect of Monterey Bay creates an ideal growing climate where extreme day to night temperature swings allow for a longer, more concentrated maturation of grapes. The unique soil combination of limestone and decomposed granite provides excellent drainage required for deep roots and healthy vines. This unique terroir is the source of the lively minerality component found in wines made from Rodnick.farm grapes.

Varieties:  Grenache, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Viognier, Albarino, Pinot Noir;114, Pommard, Chalone 46 & Swan, Mourvedre, Muscat & Syarh
